Favicon checker: does your site have an icon in search results and tabs?

The favicon is the little icon in browser tabs and next to your site in Google's mobile results. ShipPatrol checks you have one.

Why it matters

Without one, you get a generic globe in search results and an anonymous tab. Small thing, but it looks unfinished.

How Patch checks

We look for a <link rel="icon"> tag and try /favicon.ico.

How to fix it

  1. Add a square icon (at least 48x48 pixels) and link it with <link rel="icon" href="/favicon.png">.
  2. Keep /favicon.ico as well for older tools.

Your own report goes further: it names the exact pages, services and settings Patch found on your site, and with a full report you get a fix prompt to paste into Lovable, Bolt or Cursor.
